Naturalist, botanist, university professor, collector, protomedic and tireless cultural entrepreneur, Ulisse Aldrovandi takes the scholar's gaze outside the walls of the studio and paves the way for a new way of doing science. A journey to learn about the cultural landscape of his time and his contribution to the renewal of natural sciences in the sixteenth century, a century of discoveries and great transformations.
